Basic Structure

There are 3 external interfaces to Open Firmware as previously discussed and as shown in the following figure:

• The user interface,
• The device interface, and
• The client interface

There are also three internal data structures as shown in the following figure.

• The device tree,
• The Forth dictionary, and
• The non-volatile configuration memory
